I grew up in the Chicago suburb of Elmhurst, Illinois, and moved to Missouri in 2009 seeking higher education and adventure. And what an adventure I have found! Journalism and communications have seen me grow from a fledgling eighth-grader trying to make his own newspaper to a multimedia reporter with an ever-growing passion for charting the next steps of the media industry.

 

While at Mizzou, I have reported for the Futures Lab of the Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute covering innovations in journalism and mass media. It’s also been my pleasure to report local news as an anchor and reporter for the KBIA 91.3 FM newsroom.

 

I consider the day best spent if I have reported, edited or produced the news and shared something with the world. Whenever I can, I enjoy creative writing, painting, photography and travel. I look forward to telling the untold stories of the world.
